After my first Alaska trip, I realized there were still so many places I wanted to see—and even more experiences I wanted to have.
Before I planned my next visit, I made a decision: I wanted to be educated and truly prepared. Becoming a Certified Travel Alaska Expert Advisor takes dedicated time and focused training, but it was absolutely worth it. Alaska is not a “one-size-fits-all” destination, and I wanted to be able to guide travelers with confidence—whether they’re dreaming of Denali, Glacier Bay, the Inside Passage, or beyond.
On my first trip, I sat across from a gentleman on our flight to Anchorage who told me, “You visit Alaska once, you’ll want to go again and again.” He was on his 26th trip to “The Great Land!” After my first visit, I understood exactly what he meant.
My goal for that first trip to Alaska was Denali. Mission accomplished!
